My Story
From Survivor to Healer
When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, my world shifted overnight. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I understood the body — but nothing prepares you for the journey of becoming a patient yourself. Through surgery, treatment, and recovery, I experienced firsthand the physical and emotional toll that cancer takes.
That experience became my calling. I realized that so many breast cancer survivors struggle to reconnect with their bodies after treatment. The stiffness, the pain, the fear of movement — I understood it all because I had lived it. I made it my mission to help other survivors find joyful movement again.
Today, through Mindset Movement and Wellness, I provide specialized physical therapy and coaching for breast cancer survivors. I also bring expert orthopedic physical therapy directly to the homes of Medicare clients within 15 miles of downtown Hillsborough, NC — because healing is easier when you're comfortable.
Whether you're recovering from breast cancer or need skilled orthopedic care at home, I bring the expertise to you — with compassion, understanding, and a deep belief in your body's ability to heal.
