In person Breast Cancer Recovery

Why choose in person?

🏥 Why Choose In-Person Sessions?

1. Hands-On Treatment

  • Access to manual therapy techniques like dry needling, massage, joint mobilization, or instrument-assisted soft tissue work that cannot be replicated virtually.
2. DEEPER CONNECTION

  • Many people feel more comfortable and supported in a physical space with their provider, allowing for stronger therapeutic rapport and energy exchange.

3. Access to Equipment

  • Benefit from clinic-based tools and equipment that enhance exercise, mobility training, or scar care modalities not available at home.

4. Fewer Distractions

  • In-person sessions provide a dedicated healing space, away from the interruptions of home life, helping clients stay present and focused.

Hands on Care

For over 20 years my clients have repeated to me that I am the first PT to really get my hands on their problem area. When I went to school 20+ years ago, physical therapy was part art and part science. It has progressed to more science based which is why most clinics prescribe mostly exercise and education with very little hands on. Manual therapies don't shake out well in the research, my thought is that we all have inherent gifts and touch is hard to quantify across humans in research studies.

I feel that manual touch is an important part of healing. I can bring relief to areas through therapeutic touch, which allow my clients to more easily perform their exercises and movement practices.

I can teach you how to release your own ribs, intercostal spaces, chest muscles (pectorals major and minor), sternal mobilizations but some clients prefer me to do it for them in the clinic and I am happy to provide that service. If this is what you are looking for book an in person visit with me.
